Tunnel formwork for cross passages

Tunnel formwork for cross passages

Reference: 170512-GA

Customer: ARGE TUNNEL RASTATT
Country: Germany
Location: Rastatt
Year: 2017-22

Description:

The project includes the construction of the single track and double tube Rastatt tunnel with a length of approximately 4,270 m, as well as the water channel structures.
The Rastatt Tunnel crosses under the urban area of Rastatt and the lowlands of Federbach. It starts east of Ötigheim and ends south of Rastatt in the Niederbühl area (see map).
The project has 8 connecting galleries with similar geometries but different dimensions between them. The construction of each gallery is divided into four phases of execution due to the fact that it has different sections. The 4 phases of the 8 galleries are studied together to offer tunnel formwork that adapt to all configurations with the least number of possible changes, thus reducing the final cost of the equipment.
This project has been designed and developed with our strategic partner MEVA.
