Key Milestone Achieved in the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel Project
The construction of the world’s longest submerged tunnel has reached a significant milestone. The first two elements, each weighing 73,500 tons, have been successfully transferred from the factory in Rødbyhavn to the basins.

These elements will remain in the basins until Femern Link Contractors (FLC) commence the final preparations for the first immersion. A total of 89 elements will be produced to complete this ambitious project, marking a remarkable achievement in engineering and construction.
