Self Launching Footbridge

Customer: Boygues & Razel-Bec
Country: France
Location: Paris
Year: 2020

Description:

To develop a highly efficient equipment capable of saving large cantilevers to prevent any disruption in train operations. The project was located at the Saint Denis Pleyel train station in Paris. The walkway had to span the entire railway tracks with a length of 186 meters. To achieve this, it was necessary to design a structure that supported it at three strategic points, creating cantilevers ranging from 44 to 72 meters with a section of 4.5 x 3 meters to accommodate pipe installations, motorized material transport equipment, and a pedestrian walkway.
